1. Actualização de firmware NVE-M300P

The RUE-M300 lets you connect the NVE-M300P to any legacy Alpine monitor with navigation input that is not touch screen enabled and fully control it.

The ability to control your navigation system NVE-M300P via the remote controller requires the respective update of the operation system.

Please check the software release date before updating your unit. This update is only required if the release date is the same, or earlier than indicated in the screenshot.

2. Map Update NVE-M300P

2.1 Preparação da actualização de mapa: Gestão do Text-To-Speech (TTS)

Dantes do processo de actualização de mapa, é necessário preparar o NVE-M300P.
Descarregar o “NVE-M300P TTS Manager Tool” e descompactar o arquivo no diretório raiz da memória USB vacia (a pasta "M3" deve estar no diretório raiz do disp

Requisitos

  • Conexão a internet de alta velocidade
  • Dispositivo de cor (recomendado 2GB ou maior)

Instruções

  1. Acender o NVE-M300P e ligar ao dispositivo USB com o “NVE-M300P TTS Manager Tool”, a pasta "M3" deve estar no diretório raiz da unidade.
  2. Iniciará o “NVE-M300P TTS Manager Tool”. Todas as vozes TTS marcadas com (*) serão guardadas na unidade NVE-M300P.
  3. Seleccione a voz TTS que deseje e pressione "OK". A voz TTS seleccionada estará disponível para a navegação.

    O resto das vozes TTS serão transferidas do NVE-M300P ao dispositivo USB. O processo pode levar 15 minutos.

    Precaução: se considera mudar a voz do TTS mais adiante, deve manter o dispositivo USB como cópia de segurança.

  4. Uma vez finalizado o processo, retire o dispositivo USB. O NVE-M300P voltará a arrancar automaticamente.

    Todas as vozes TTS, excepto as seleccionadas. Guardar-se-ão em: “USB stick\\NVE_M300P_Voices” como cópia de segurança.

The navigation map update of your NVE-M300P is done by USB stick. This allows easy transfer of the map update to your installed navigation module NVE-M300P. During the update only revised or new content will be transferred from the USB stick.

Requirements


  • Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or higher

  • USB stick (4 GB or more recommended)

Prepare USB stick


  1. Download <<MU_NVE-M300P_xxxxxxxx.zip>> to your PC.

  2. Connect an empty USB stick to your PC.

  3. Extract the file (i.e. with WinZip/IZArc) onto the USB stick. The folder 
“M3” has to be stored in root directory of the USB stick.

  4. Safely remove the USB stick from your PC.

1) Power on NVE-M300P by turning on the ignition.

 

2) Connect the USB stick via the USB cable included in the box to NVE-M300P to start the synctool.

 

3) Press the “Collect device information”.

 

5) Press “Quit”.

 

7) Remove the USB stick, then press “Continue”. NVE-M300P restarts

automatically.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4) Press “OK” once Update or Backup successfully completed without errors.

 

6) Press “Yes” to quit synctool.

 

 

Download new or changed content to USB stick

1) Start Naviextras Toolbox and connect the USB stick to your PC. The prepared USB stick will be recognized as navigation device.

2) Purchase and install content and updates as described within Naviextras Toolbox.

3) Safely remove the USB stick from your PC.

1) Power on NVE-M300P by turning on the ignition and reconnect the USB

stick via the USB cable included in the box to start the synctool.

2) Press “Copy updates to your device”.

 

4) Press “OK” once Update or Backup successfully completed

without errors.

6) Press “Yes” to quit synctool.

 

 

 

 

3) Press “Yes” to initialize the update.

 

5) Press “Quit”.

 

7) Remove the USB stick, then press “Continue”. NVE-M300P restarts

automatically.

The following information is quite important for the service handling if you opened an account at Naviextras.com and purchased additional updates for your NVE-M300P, in addition to the original installed software package!

 

The NVE-M300P creates an individual software identification number called SWID, during first boot up of the system. This software identification number will be transfered to Naviextras.com while you purchase an update for your NVE-M300P. This is made in order to guarantee Copyright protected issues. Your device and your account for this device will be recognized on your next visit at Naviextras.

Get the SWID number on your NVE-M300P

The SWID is important for service handling, since you will lose your SWID number if:

  • Your dealer/your service station exchanges your NVE-M300P to another one.
  • The service replaced the Main PWB.
  • Your NVE-M300P needs a complete re-installation of the firmware and software.
